The Light Festival, Oxford

Oxford's Light Festival brings the city's communities together with a programme of free art, music, dance and performances. The event is a spectacular and popular start to the festive season with late night viewings, exhibitions and events.

This year saw the return of the popular Lantern Procession which winds its way through the city on the Friday evening. The procession, accompanied by marching bands, was this year made up of children from 8 Oxford Schools who had created lanterns at special workshops.
